Immediately following your appointment, the color is crisp, vibrant, and defined. It appears 20–30% darker than the final healed result due to fresh surface pigment.
Micro-pigment particles settle gently at the basal membrane (0.3–0.5mm). Natural protective barrier forms.
Keep the area dry for 24–48 hours. Apply a micro-thin film of provided aftercare balm with a clean cotton swab.
As the skin closes over the pigments, surface oxidation takes place. The color temporarily darkens and feels slightly tight. This is a completely normal sign of healthy healing!
The outermost skin layer seals the pigments. Oxidation creates a brief 20% darker contrast.
Never pick, rub, or scratch the area. Avoid makeup, steam, saunas, and intense sweating.
Superficial dead skin cells naturally shed. The color underneath may look milky or faint for a short time—the true pigment will gently bloom back over the coming 2 weeks.
